State Micro Credit Agency

Ekiti State Micro Credit Agency was established in the year 2007 through harmonization of Agric Credit Agency and Consolidated Poverty Reduction Agency. The harmonization was to prevent duplication of functions and strengthen the financial base of the Agency for timely delivery of credit to meet the funding requirements of the rural poor.
The Agency was established by law of the State House of Assembly, empowering it to harmonize and administer all micro funds in the State including disbursement and recovery. The law was amended in the year 2011 which gave it the name: Ekiti State Multipurpose Credit Agency, increase its scope of operations and make it more functionally diversified.
