The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has urged market women in the state to support and vote President Mohammadu Buhari and all candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for State and National Assembly seats in the forth coming elections.

Erelu Fayemi who addressed market women at the  main market in Ido-Ekiti in, Ido-Osi, Local Government Area, said the re-election of President Buhari would enhance greater development for the state.

Erelu Fayemi who was accompanied by the party’s Senatorial Candidate for Ekiti-North, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, and Barr. Ibrahim Olarenwaju, who is vying for the House of Representatives , among others, assured the women that all the promises made will be fulfilled if President Buhari is re-elected and and all the state and National Assembly seats are filled with APC members.

“The present administration of Dr  Kayode Fayemi has established a good relationship with the present federal government and we have started seeing the gains such as regular payments of salaries and pensions. Salaries are paid monthly as at when due compared to when workers were owed for many months,” she said.

Aside wooing the women, she also took time off to sensitize the elderly citizens on how to guide against their votes being voided.

“When you get to the polling booths, don’t look for Buhari’s picture or name on the ballot. Look for the Symbol of our party, which is broom and print with your forefinger in front to save Nigeria and Ekiti in particular from ruin” she advised.

Bemoaning the high incidences of void votes in Ekiti, the first lady urged people of ido/Osi to embrace the ongoing voters’ education by APC to be properly guided on how to vote right.
