Erelu Bisi Fayemi Advocates Women Involvement In Policymaking

The First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, has assured that the present administration would continue to create an enabling environment for gender equality and women’s empowerment for national development

The Wife of the Governor, who spoke during a One-Day Accountability Forum on the implementation of Ekiti Women Policy Agenda, held at the Adunni Olayinka Women Centre, Fajuyi, in Ado-Ekiti said government at all levels, should include women in the decision-making process in order to drive growth and development in the country.

Erelu Fayemi also commended the organizers of the event for a job well done and assured that Ekiti State Government, under the leadership of Governor Kayode Fayemi, has been more committed to the implementation of various gender-friendly policies that protect the rights of the women and girl child.

The event, which was organized by the Ekiti State Government in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), had various women groups, political office holders among others in attendance.

    Our erelu I appreciate God in your life and your family, to be a leader isn’t an easy thing, right from our various homes, like we men we all know what it takes us to control and correct our home,so as a woman at this point, may God Almighty strength you to bring young females in Ekiti state together both in home and away in jesus name.   2. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
