Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has condoled with his Katsina State counterpart, Ibrahim Shema, on the passing away of his father, the late Alhaji Shehu Shema, on Monday at the National Hospital,Abuja.
The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olayinka Oyebode, urged Governor Shema and the entire family to be consoled by the fact that their father lived a long and fulfilled life as an accomplished farmer and notable community leader.
Governor Fayemi said Alhaji Shehu who passed on at 86, had return to his Creator in peace and contentment, having produced worthy children including Governor Shema who will proudly carry on his legacy of worthy and selfless service to their community, state and the country.
He prayed that the Almighty Allah will grant him eternal rest in Aljaunah.
