Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi will on Monday deliver a lecture at the Harvard University, United States of America.
Governor Fayemi who was also guest speaker at the just concluded Crans Montana Forum for Africa, in Brussels, Belgium at the weekend, will be speaking on the topic, ‘From the Barricades of Resistance to the Verandah of Power: Personal Reflections on Democracy, Governance and State Reconstruction in Nigeria”.
The lecture which holds at the Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, would be attended by researchers, schorlars, activists and policy makers and political scientists.
Harvard University, which celebrates its 377th anniversary this year, is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.
The Governor will also on Wednesday, March 13, receive Samsung’s award for ‘Best Governor in Africa for an Outstanding Educational Project’. The award will be presented at Samsung’s Africa Forum Conference holding in Cape Town, South Africa.
