Proposed Ekiti Civic Centre Will Be A Long Term Legacy – Chinese Mayor

The Mayor of Tianjin Province, Xiao Song has said that the Civic Centre currently under construction in Ado Ekiti would be a long term legacy for the Ekiti State Government when completed.
Mr. Song made the assertion while on a courtesy visit to the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi in Ado Ekiti.

The Mayor who was represented by his Deputy, Hu Xiaoynang, added that the Civic Centre will after completion showcase quality and expertise in construction work.

He commended the state government for embarking on developmental projects aimed at improving the lives of the people across the state. While expressing satisfaction with the outcome of the partnership between his countrymen and the state government, the Mayor stressed his willingness to extend the partnership to the area of education, tourism, and agriculture.

In his remarks, the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi who spoke through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Ganiyu Owolabi said the state government was committed to developing the state through the 8-point agenda of the Fayemi led administration.
He said that the state government was read to collaborate with interested organisations in the efforts to transform the state.
