Ekiti Workers Tasked On Contributory Pension Scheme

The Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Pension Commission, Mr. Adeyemi Owoseeni has urged workers in the State Public service to key into the newly introduced Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) as the state government would soon commence the deduction of the mandatory workers 7.5% contribution.
Mr. Owoseeni gave the charge during a meeting with Directors and Heads of sections of the Commission in Ado-Ekiti.
The P.S. who noted that pensioners under the CPS would no longer be at the mercy of employers, assured workers of up-to-date information
on their retirement savings account, adding that their benefits would be promptly paid.
The Permanent Secretary also charged the members of staff of the commission to be more dedicated to their duties for effective and
efficient service delivery.
Responding on behalf of Directors and Staffers of the Commission, Mr. Victor Ola-Jegede expressed appreciation to the Permanent Secretary and pledged their unalloyed support for him in order to achieve success in the task ahead.
