PHCDA Chairman Commends Workers For Their Support

January 18, 2013

The Chairman of the Ekiti State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA), Dr. Sule Lawal has commended members of staff of the agency for their support towards ensuring success in the out gone year.
Speaking during the first meeting he held with the management and staffers of the agency in 2013, Dr Lawal noted that the agency
exhibited exemplary initiative in the out gone year, adding that being able to sustain immunisation in the state particularly during the
strike action embarked upon by local government workers was worthy of commendation.

The Chairman explained that the resultant effect of the workers commitment to duties was a sharp reduction in the prevalent rate of
vaccine preventable diseases.

According to him, the agency has become a role model and would continue to initiate enviable standards for other states to emulate.

In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the PHCDA, Mrs Folakemi Falore enjoined them not to rest on their oars.

Mrs Falore said that arrangements have been concluded to resolve the acute accommodation problems confronting the agency.
She disclosed that Governor Fayemi has promised that all on-going building projects at the state secretariat would soon be completed and would be allocated to needing MDAs.
