EKHA To Commence Screening Of 2013 Appropriation Bill

The Ekiti State House of Assembly will on Thursday, December 13, 2012 commence the screening of the 2013 Appropriation Bill.
According to a statement by the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Hon Ayodeji Odu, various Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals are expected to appear before standing House Committees for the three- day exercise.

The statement highlighted that the General Administration Department, Government House and Protocol, Ekiti State Liaison Office in Lagos, Abuja and Akure, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Office of the Deputy Governor, Ministries of Special Duties, Housing and Environment, Works and Transport, Ministry of Justice and all their allied agencies will kick off the exercise on Thursday.

It added that the Ministries of Local Government and Community Development; Health, Women Affairs, Physical and Urban Planning, Information and Education will take their turns on Friday, December 14, 2012 while Ministries of Integration and Inter-Governmental Affairs; Agriculture, Commerce, Finance and their allied agencies will take the stage on Monday, December 17, 2012.

The exercise scheduled for the Assembly Complex in Ado will start by 10 .00 am daily. The statement enjoined all Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals to adhere to the timetable sent to them.
