The Chairman of the Ekiti State Projects Monitoring Committee (PMC), Chief Ranti Adebisi has charged indigenes of the State in the Diaspora to key in to the investment and development drive of the Fayemi – led administration.
Chief Adebisi who gave the charge while chatting with journalists in his office in Ado Ekiti, described the on-going transformation of the state as massive, adding that the developmental efforts in the state would create investment opportunities for serious investors.
Mr. Adebisi reiterated the commitment of the state government to the provision of a conducive environment for business to thrive, stressing that basic amenities were now provided for the people. According to him, free medical service, free and qualitative education, renovation of schools, development of agriculture, rural development and rehabilitation of the road network in the state are part of efforts of the administration to improve the lots of the people and make the state an investors’, delight.
Mr. Adebisi urged the prospective investors to make hay while the sun shines, adding that delay may be dangerous as expected rush of investors in the state would eventually lead to more competition which would give earlier investors an edge. Speaking on the on-going projects in the state, the chairman of the monitoring committee expressed satisfaction with the progress of work.
He however charged the contractors handling the projects to expedite action and deliver on schedule, stressing that government would not tolerate late or shoddy jobs.
