‘Patronise Central Medical Store’, – Bamisaye Charges Medicine Dealers

Patent Medicine dealers in Ekiti State have been charged to continually patronise the State Central Medical Store CMS-UDRF located within Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti for the supply of genuine drugs.
The General Manager of the Store, Pharmacist Isreal Bamisaye who gave the charge during a business meeting with the leadership of the Proprietary Patent Medicine Licensed Vendors in Ado said the call was imperative as the Central Medical Drug Store is renowned Nationwide for the provision of quality and wholesome drugs.

Pharmacist Bamisaye who explained the Central Medical Store is one of the four public health institutions in Nigeria that is International Standard Organisation (ISO) certified also disclosed that the state Government may soon go into drug production because of the array of experienced Pharmacists in its services.
The CMS-UDRF boss used the forum to counsel residents of the State not to buy drugs from unlicensed outlets and hawkers in order not to consume fake, adulterated and unwholesome drugs that are harmful to health.
While assuring clients and customers of the Mega Drug Store of efficient service delivery, Pharmacist Bamisaye said that the State Government is irrevocably committed to the provision of affordable and accessible health system.
He called on the people to report individuals and corporate organisations that dispense fake and adulterated drugs to unsuspecting members of the public to law enforcement agents stressing that whoever engages in this act shall be prosecuted of according to the laws of the land.
