The Ekiti State Government would engage about one thousand five hundred youths under the Youth Commercial Agriculture Development Programme (YCAD).
The Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. Babajide Arowosafe made this known in his office in Ado.
The Commissioner said the programme is aimed at engaging serious minded youths with entrepreneurial spirit to become future successful commercial Agriculturists.
According to him, interested youths should collect application forms from any ADP office nearest to them or from any of the farm settlements or farm centers to enable them compete in the selection process for the first phase of the programme to be launched later in the month.
He urged all interested youths to submit duly completed application forms to the place of collection not later than April 12, 2012.
