Famosaya Lauds Institute Of Directors

Ekiti State Head of Service, Mr. Olubunmi Famosaya, has described the Institute of Directors (IoD) as a credible training organization with track record in manpower development.

Mr. Famosaya made the remark while receiving the Director- General of the Institute who was in his Office in company of the Executive Chairman of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, BSES Mrs. Ronke Okunsanya to confer him the life membership award of the Institute.

The Head of Service who noted that workers across the state needed training to enhance their performance, applauded the gesture of the Institute to partner with the State Broadcasting Outfit in the area of
capacity building for its workforce.

He urged the Institute to extend its training programme to political office holders in the State and promised to recommend to the State Government the need to buy into the Institute’s programmes.

While appreciating the leadership of the Institute for its choice of the Chairman of the BSES, Mrs. Ronke Okusanya and himself as life members of the Institute, Famosaya, accepted his nomination and expressed his willingness to patronize the Institute.

Earlier, the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, Mr. Akin Ajayi, who praised the State Government for restructuring the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, BSES promised to partner with the media outfit in the area of training and manpower development.

He commended the State Government for its transformation agenda and urged workers across the State to cue into the programme.
