EKSG Lauds Advocacy Committee On Tuberculosis

Ekiti State Government has lauded the State Tuberculosis (TB) Advocacy Committee on its awareness campaign across the state.

The State Commissioner for Health, Professor Olusola Fasuba gave the commendation while receiving members of the Committee in his office in Ado.
Professor Fasuba assured the Committee of government’s assistance in the control of TB, Malaria and other related diseases in Ekiti.

The Chairman, of the Committee Dr. Odunayo Fagbeyiro, appealed to the State government to assist the committee in publicizing the campaign. Dr. Fagbeyiro affirmed that Tuberculosis was very common in the rural areas of the State.

The State Director of Disease Control Dr. Ayodele Seluwa expressed appreciation to the State government for its support, adding that the committee will always give Government feedback through the State
Ministry of Health.
