Community Pleads For Establisment Of Health Centre

Residents of Araromi-Oke Ekiti in Ekiti East Local Government Area have appealed to the State Government to establish an Ultra Modern Health Centre in the Community.
The Regent of the town, Mrs. Adenike Olusola Olabode who made the plea at a forum in Araromi-Oke Ekiti, said that the Health Centre would enhance health care delivery in the community.
Mrs Olabode expressed gratitude to the State Government for its support through the Ekiti State Community and Social Development Agency (EKSCDA) in building an Ultra Modern Civic Centre in the Community.
In his remarks, Governor Kayode Fayemi, who was represented at the occasion by his Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief George Akosile, reiterated the commitment of the Fayemi-led administration to the provision of a sustainable health care service delivery at the grassroots, adding that government would provide each community with well equipped health centres.The Governor however stressed the need for people in the state to complement government’s good gesture by making judicious use of all public facilities in their community.
In his remarks, the State Commissioner for Labour and Productivity, Hon. Apalara Wole-Adewumi enjoined all sons and daughters of the community both at home and abroad to contribute their quota towards the development of the town.
