Senior Health Workers in Ekiti Urged to Offer Emergency Services During Warning Strike

The Permanent Secretary in the Ekiti State Hospitals Management Board (HMB), Dr. Kolawole Aina has appealed to Senior Health Officers in the state to offer skeletal services during the 3days warning strike embarked upon by Health workers nationwide.

Dr. Aina who made the plea in Ado Ekiti at a meeting with Principal Officers of Health workers in the state said the gesture would be a demonstration of their commitment to the success of the various laudable health programmes of the state government.

The Permanent Secretary added that the skeletal service would also assist in preventing avoidable loss of lives and attend to the health challenges of the people particularly the less privileged.

He noted that the state government has maintained a good working relationship with health workers in the state adding that the skeletal services would be used to reciprocate government good gesture.

Dr. Aina also expressed confidence in the quality of the leadership of the Health workers and assured that government would continue to provide a conducive working environment for the workers.
