Governor Fayemi, who chaired the inaugural meeting of the council in 2017 in his capacity as the then Minister of Mines and Steel Development, said all hands must be on deck to ensure that mining and agriculture contribute optimally to the nation’s economy.

The Governor said adequate arrangements have been made for safety of the participants during their stay in the state.

This is a great step towards the discovering and tapping into the high mineral resources in Ekiti which is enough to put Ekiti state at the front just like the oil producing state. God bless the government of Ekiti for hosting this years National Council on Mining and Mineral Resources Development (NCMMRD)
