A former Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, General Abdusalami Abubakar is to commission five major projects in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014, as part of activities marking the fourth anniversary of the Dr Kayode Fayemi administration.
General Abubakar is well respected for his successful transition to civil rule programme that culminated in the current democratic dispensation in 1999.
The former Head of State will be commissioning the Erinjiyan Water Treatment Plant at Erinjiyan-Ekiti, accompanied by the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and other prominent citizens.
He will also commission the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital(EKSUTH) Library; the Works Department and the General Out Patient Department of the Teaching Hospital, as well as the Administrative Building of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Ado-Ekiti.
