The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism, Mrs. Adekunbi Obaisi has reiterated the resolve of the Fayemi-administration to make the state the number-one tourists’ destination point in Nigeria.
Speaking during an inspection tour of the newly re-constructed Ikogosi warm spring resort centre, Mrs. Obaisi noted that the present administration was out to make the resort a major source of revenue generation for the state.
She opined that when fully equipped and in use, the resort will compete favourably with any International tourist centre across the globe.
At Arinta water falls in Ipole-Iloro, the Permanent Secretary stressed that the water falls remains one of the wonders of the world and a dynamic resource centre for the future.
