In line with the administration’s policy of providing necessary infrastructure for economic growth and development, Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, will today, Thursday, November 23, 2023 commission the state’s 3.6mw IPP project in Ado Ekiti.
The commissioning will hold at the premises of the IPP plant along Bank Road, by 4pm. Guests are expected to be seated by 3.30pm.
The IPP is designed to provide uninterrupted power supply to some public institutions, including the state secretariat, Governor’s office, state teaching hospital, state university and power major street lights. Private companies can also access electricity through the IPP based on payment arrangement.
