Ekiti State Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi has commiserated with the Secretary to the State Government, Evangelist Foluso Daramola on the passing of his wife, Mrs Daramola in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Governor, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, described Mrs Alice Bosede Daramola’s death as very sad, unfortunate and shocking.
Dr Fayemi said the deceased was a dutiful wife and mother, a devoted christian whose passing would definitely create a vacuum not only within her immediate and extended family but also the church, and her community.
He said the vacuum created by this irreparable loss can only be filled by God’s immeasurable grace.
The Governor urged Evangelist Daramola to be strong and take solace in God who gives and takes.
He prayed God to give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable and unfortunate loss.
” It is shocking and hard to come to terms with the sudden exit. However, we cannot question God. I urge our amiable SSG and the entire family to take solace in the comforting word of God.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Ekiti State, I commiserate with the Daramolas and pray that God will give them the fortitude to bear this unfortunate loss”. He said .
