No fewer than twenty five youths of Ekiti origin are set to attend a workshop on creative art in Benin.

Speaking while meeting the youths in Ado Ekiti, the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi said youths are central to the knowledge economy being canvassed by his administration.

The Governor while addressing the participants in Ado- Ekiti said he was optimistic that the State is blessed with human resources that could be tapped for the all-round development of the State.

Fayemi said the government’s decision to exploit the federal governments organised programme is borne out of the knowledge that the State could benefit from the use of ICT especially now that the world is now a global technology village.

While urging the participants to be law abiding, the governor expressed optimism that they would be useful in driving the knowledge economy of the State.

Earlier, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and students matters, Moses Ademiloye had explained that the participants would be trained on animation 3D,2D, script writing, and production.
