Ekiti @ 30: My Dream and Agenda for the Next Thirty Years
As Ekiti State marks 30 years of its creation, young Ekiti people are invited to imagine and articulate the Ekiti they want to see in 2056—and the practical steps we must take today to build it.
THE CHALLENGE:
What should Ekiti look like 30 years from now?
Tell us your vision for Ekiti’s economy, education, healthcare, communities, institutions, businesses and opportunities, and propose bold, realistic and innovative ideas for making that vision a reality.
ESSAY TOPIC:
“Ekiti at 30: My Dream and Agenda for the Next Thirty Years”
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to young Ekiti people aged 18–35.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
● Essay must be the participant’s original work.
● Essay must be 1,000–1,500 words.
● Entries must be forward-looking, practical and solution-driven.
● Participants should focus on their vision for Ekiti in 2056 and the steps required to achieve it.
PRIZES
| 1. | 1st Prize | ₦1,500,000 + Laptop |
| 2. | 2nd Prize | ₦1,000,000 + Laptop |
| 3. | 3rd Prize | ₦700,000 + Laptop |
Other finalists: ₦100,000 each.
DEADLINE:
28 September 2026
Winners will be announced on 7 October 2026.
This is more than an essay competition. It is an invitation to imagine, think and help shape the future of Ekiti State.
