Verification Of Building Plans Commences

Officials of the Ekiti State Ministry of Physical, Urban and Regional Planning have commenced a house census aimed at authenticating
building plans and other documents of Landed Properties in the state.
The Commissioner for Physical, Urban and Regional Planning, Mr. Ebunlomo Awoyemi gave the information while chatting with Journalists in Ado – Ekiti. Mr. Awoyemi stressed the need for Property Owners to obtain government approved building plans for proper planning and construction of their building, and noted that Officials of the Ministry will be going round to ensure that all buildings conform to the State Urban Renewal laws.

He charged property owners in the state to cooperate with the officials towards achieving the desired goals of ensuring proper planning and development of the state.
