In line with the policy of transparency, inclusiveness and accountability of the JKF administration, Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, will commence the third edition of his annual tour of all the communities in the state beginning from Friday, November 1, 2013.
The tour which will take the Governor to no fewer than 132 communities across the 16 local government areas of the state is to allow the Governor inspect ongoing projects, commission completed projects and get the inputs of the various communities into the 2014 Budget, through the Town Hall meetings which is the highpoint of the tour.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olayinka Oyebode, stated that the tour which will commence in Ekiti East Local Government Area on Friday, will be rounded off on December 5th in Ado-Ekiti Local Government.
Governor Fayemi, while on the tour will visit all the towns and villages in each of the 16 local government areas, where the communities would present their list of priority projects for inclusion in the 2014 budget.
The tour of communities and Town Hall meetings have become annual event for the Governor since the maiden edition in November 2011.
