ESKG Restates Commitment To All Round Development

Ekiti State Government has restated its commitment to develop all sectors of the state economy.
The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji (Dr.) Ganiyu Owolabi who gave the remark at a forum in Oye, stated that every citizen of this state has a responsibility to play in the development of the state as the Government has implemented a lot of policies and programmes aimed at enhancing the socio-economic advancement of the state.
While speaking on the security situation of the state, the Secretary to the State Government stated that people across the state can sleep with their eyes closed as government has assisted the Nigerian Police Force with about 50 vehicles,  modern communication gadgets in addition to 3Armoured Personnel Carriers.
Alhaji Owolabi revealed that the Fayemi administration has also achieved a lot in its care for the elderly  programme, youth empowerment,  agriculture, infrastructural development, free health mission and its reform programme in the education sector.
The Government is also making efforts to ensure that all parts of the state are accessible by motorable roads while the 5 kilometer per local government roads project is also being pursued with vigor.
The Secretary to the State Government appealed to the people to be patient with Government as the Fayemi Administration is out to implement programmes and policies that would make life worthliving for Ekiti people.
