Ekiti State Government has published Fire Service Emergency numbers for distress calls in the state.
The members are 07069582302, 08035785164 and 08057651977 for Ado Ekiti; 07069582359, 0805761983 for Ikere Ekiti and 07069582273 08057651948 for Ikole Ekiti.
A statement from the office of the state Commissioner for Special duties, Mr. Apalara Wole-Adewumi assured people in the state of adequate security of lives and property.
The statement disclosed that members of paramedical corps that were recently recruited to man the newly purchased six fire trucks, three water tankers and five ambulances were currently undergoing internship programme at the Ekiti State University teaching Hospital (EKTSU) Ado Ekiti to prepare them for the task ahead.
It assured that the on-going renovation of the Igbara-Odo, Otun, Ago Aduloju, Itawure and Ifaki Ambulance bays would be completed as soon as possible while contracts for two fire stations at Ikere and Ikole have been awarded.
