Ekiti Deputy Governor Admonishes Muslims At Ramadan

Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs. Funmi Olayinka has appealed to muslim faithfuls in the state to adhere to the spirit of Ramadan.
In a message she sent to muslims at the beginning of the holy month, the deputy governor urged them to allow the lessons of Ramadan to reflect in their everyday lives.

She also advised muslim faithfuls to discharge all the tasks associated with Ramadan fasting faithfully, asking that the period be deployed to praying for the continued unity of Nigeria and particularly the success of the Dr. Kayode Fayemi led administration.
Mrs. Olayinka said virtues such as piety, kindness, self restraint and continuous prayer are necessary for the progress of the society. She
stressed that the Fayemi administration will continue to do its best to improve the lives of the people of the state and equally continue
to work to sustain religious harmony for which the state is known.
