Disregard misleading Social Media news, Ekiti govt tells Job Seekers

June 17, 2020

Ekiti State Government has advised people of the State, particularly job seekers, to disregard the online and social media scam news, that letters of appointment have been issued to newly recruited teachers and non-teaching staff in the State.

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Foluso Daramola, gave the advice while fielding questions from journalists in his office in Ado-Ekiti.

Mr. Daramola noted that though the recruitment exercise has been concluded, letters would not be issued until the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

He urged members of the public to disregard any information on social media, which was capable of misleading the public, adding that fraudsters would stop at nothing to unleash their devilish enterprise on the unsuspecting public.
