The Governor of Ekiti State,His Excellency Dr John Kayode Fayemi,through the Ministry of Special Duties,wishes to invite the general public to the hosting of the year 2014 Ekiti State Merit Award & Honour’s Roll.
The event comes in form of an Annual Award Ceremony whereby distinguished sons and daughters of Ekiti State Origin and other Nigerians who have made significant. Impacts on the socio-economic and cultural development of Ekiti are recognised and awarded the State Merit Award.
To this end,all stakeholders in Ekiti Project are hereby invited to nominate/recommend persons adjudged suitable for consideration as recipients of this prestigious Awards The nominations should be accompanied with a type-written resume/curriculum vitae/bio-data(Not Longer than two pages)of each nominee and also state,among other things,the followings;
1) Full name (First,middle & Last),
2) LGA/LCDA of Origin,
2) LGA/LCDA of Origin,
3) State of Origin(For non Ekiti State Origin).
4) Contact Address: a) Home Address, b) GSM number(s). c) e- mail Address(if any).
5) A- two paragraph( of not more than eight (8) lines each)Summary of the striking/immense/significant impact the nominee’s contribution(s) has(have) made on Ekiti State in particular.
All nominations in the prescribed format are expected to reach the Office of the Hon Commissioner for Special Duties at the Secretariat,Ado-Ekiti, NOT later than 12 noon on Wednesday,August 20,2014.
Please NOTE that all late returns and/or those not in conformity with the prescribed standard will NOT be accepted.
